The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American defensive back TJ Morrison.
The five-foot-ten, 190-pound cover man was signed by the Las Vegas Raiders as an undrafted free agent after going unselected in the 2021 NFL Draft.
The native of Yonkers, N.Y. spent four collegiate seasons at Stony Brook (2016-2020) and played 40 games as a Seawolf. He made 109 career defensive tackles, five tackles for loss, two interceptions, one sack, 18 pass deflections, and one fumble recovery. He also contributed on special teams, returning a punt 35 yards for a touchdown.

As a senior, Morrison served as a captain of the Seawolves and was nominated for the National Football Foundation’s William V. Campbell Trophy, which is awarded to the American college football player with the best combination of academics, community service, and on-field performance.
