The Calgary Stampeders have signed national offensive lineman Josh Mosley.

The 24-year-old played five seasons at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ont. He was an Ontario University Athletics second-team all-star in 2021 as he was the starting right guard on an offensive line that allowed the Golden Gaels to finish first in the division and third in the conference in rushing yards per game.

The six-foot-three, 310-pound blocker went unselected in the 2020 CFL Draft. A native of Port Colborne, Ont., Mosley started at left tackle during his second, third and fourth seasons at Queen’s.

Calgary lost Justin Lawrence to the Toronto Argonauts in free agency, leaving a hole along the interior of their offensive line. The former fifth-round pick filled a key depth role in 2021 and Mosley will look to help fill the void for the Stamps in 2022.
