Stampeders’ punter Cody Grace works out for New York Giants

Calgary Stampeders’ punter Cody Grace worked out for the New York Giants, according to Aaron Wilson.

The 25-year-old was a first-round pick in the 2021 CFL Global Draft and had an excellent rookie season, punting 78 times with a 45.6 gross average in 14 games. He was named a West Division all-star

Grace was born in Perth, Western Australia and played Australian rules football at Warwick Senior High School. He went to Arkansas State for college and averaged 41.1 yards per punt in 2017.

According to Wilson, there were a few other CFL players who worked out for NFL teams on Tuesday.

Saskatchewan Roughriders’ receiver Brayden Lenius worked out for the Atlanta Falcons, while Toronto Argonauts’ defensive back Jamal Peters worked out for the Arizona Cardinals.
