Cowboys’ Canadian DT Neville Gallimore flip flops NHL allegiances, reps the 613 in enemy territory

You can take the football player out of the nation’s capital, but you can’t take the nation’s capital out of the football player.

Ottawa native and current Dallas Cowboy Neville Gallimore was on hand to watch his hometown NHL team take on the Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center on Friday night.

A 3rd round pick in the 2020 NFL draft, Gallimore has never been shy about his love for the Senators, but admitted he had never seen a game live earlier this month. That changed Friday, but although he wore a Sens jersey to the game, after some good natured booing from the crowd, he pulled a Stars jersey over it.

The key thing to note here is that the six-foot-two, 302 pound defensive lineman didn’t swap shirts, he just pulled the Dallas one over top, hoping to appease the crowd by covering up his Ottawa jersey.

In case anyone had any doubts about his allegiance, post-game pictures showed Gallimore in the Sens locker room following their 4-1 win over the Stars.
