The injuries continue to pile up for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

2019 CFL all-star Bralon Addison left early in the Ticats 32-3 win over Ottawa in Week 12. Now, Hamilton head coach Orlondo Steinauer has ruled the receiver out for Friday’s Week 13 game against Edmonton.

“Bralon won’t go this week, it’s his hamstring,” Steinauer quickly ruled. “He’s getting some more imaging and some more things done today.”

The injury occurred on a 61-yard reception late in the first quarter after which Addison pulled up favouring his right leg. He was tended to by trainers before going to the locker room for further evaluation.

Addison didn’t make his 2021 debut until Week 9 due to a leg injury, missing the team’s first seven games. He made a large impact with the Ticats in just nine quarters of work, making 18 receptions on 23 targets for 231 yards.

The former Oregon Duck was looking to build off a strong 2019 campaign where he had 1,236 yards and seven scores helping Hamilton to an East Division crown.

Hamilton has also seen starting QB Jeremiah Masoli miss significant time along with reigning MOP Brandon Banks.

Hamilton (5-5) will be without Addison for their matchup Friday night in Edmonton (2-7).
