Stampeders place receiver Kamar Jorden on one-game injured list, will not play against Riders

The Calgary Stampeders have placed receiver Kamar Jorden on the one-game injured list with a hamstring issue.

The 32-year-old Jorden will miss the Stamps Week 9 match-up with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Jorden caught two passes for 23 yards in the Stamps Week 7 loss to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. In seven games this season, Jorden has 39 receptions for 539 yards and three touchdowns.

The Bowling Green alum missed the entire 2019 regular season as he completed his knee injury rehab but returned to action in the Western Semi-Final, making two catches for 15 yards. 

Jorden earned West Division all-star honours in 2018 despite playing just nine full games before suffering a season-ending knee injury against Edmonton in the Labour Day Classic.

Though he played barely half the season, Jorden still ranked fourth in the West with 944 receiving yards and he was sixth in the division with six touchdown catches.

Jorden, who first signed with the Stamps in 2013, has played 39 career regular season games for Calgary and has accumulated 191 catches for 2,793 yards and 18 touchdowns.
