The amateur football community in Manitoba is mourning the loss of Scott Naujoks, who passed away suddenly on Monday at the age of 29.
It is with great sadness that @RiflesFootball has learned of the sudden passing of Rifle Alumni Scott Naujoks. We were fortunate to have all 3 Naujoks boys come through our program, with Scott leading the way! We are all devastated, our hearts go out to the family. RIP Scott

Naujoks graduated from St. Paul’s High School in Winnipeg as a receiver and went on to play with the University of Manitoba Bisons and the Winnipeg Rifles of the CJFL.
According to the Bisons website, he served as the receivers coach and offensive coordinator at St. Paul’s for a decade following his graduation. He became an assistant with the Bisons in 2019 where he served as a receivers coach.
Naujoks has two brothers who are currently on Manitoba’s roster — quarterback Riley Naujoks and receiver Brendan Naujoks.
The Bisons plan to honour the life of Naujoks before their game against the University of Calgary Dinos on Oct. 16.
