Andrew Harris returns to practice with Bombers after missing Monday’s session with calf injury

Andrew Harris was a full participant in Winnipeg’s closed practice on Tuesday according to the team’s injury report. He missed practice the previous day due to a calf injury.

The 34-year-old missed the Blue Bombers’ first three games of the season due to a calf injury and has frequently been a limited participant in practice since.

Harris has rushed 72 times for 353 yards and one touchdown since returning to the lineup while also catching seven passes for 75 yards. He has continued his climb up the league’s historical rankings, surpassing Joffrey Reynolds and Kelvin Anderson to become the CFL’s sixth all-time leading rusher.

Winnipeg is a perfect 4-0 since Harris returned from his injury and are looking to keep that winning streak alive against the B.C. Lions (4-3) on Friday. It is the first meeting of the season between the two clubs with the second and final one slated for Oct. 23 at IG Field.
