David Watford will make his second consecutive start for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats this week, according to Louie B.

The 28-year-old made his first career CFL start this past week, leading the Ticats to a 23-17 victory over the Calgary Stampeders. Watford quarterbacked a conservative, run-oriented offence in the win, completing 19-of-22 pass attempts for 149 yards and rushing ten times for 35 yards.

Hamilton produced just 265 yards of total offence, but it was enough to beat a Calgary team that struggled to move the football. Simoni Lawrence recorded the club’s only touchdown of the night as he intercepted Bo Levi Mitchell and returned it for a score midway through the third quarter.
