The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed Canadian fullback Alexandre Dupuis.

The 31-year-old was a fourth-round draft pick of the Toronto Argonauts in 2014 out of the University of Montreal. He played three seasons with the team (2014-16) before a three-year stint with the Edmonton Elks (2018-20) during which he recorded 24 receptions for 255 yards in 75 career games.

Dupuis signed with the Montreal Alouettes in June but was released by the team on Tuesday. He will not have to quarantine before joining the Riders on the field because he was released so recently by the Als.
