The Ottawa Redblacks have unveiled three new uniforms ahead of the 2021 CFL season — a black home jersey, a white road jersey, and a red alternate jersey.

All nine CFL teams have had the opportunity to make changes to their looks as the league has transitioned from Adidas to New Era as their new apparel provider.

For reference, this is what Ottawa’s home uniforms looked like in 2019 (below). The “new” home look appears virtually unchanged.

The away jersey seems to have undergone the largest transformation. When Ottawa broke into the league in 2014, the club wore white jerseys, helmets, and pants that featured very little red (below).

The road uniform has now embraced red as the strong secondary colour, though the helmet will remain black. This look gets bonus points for the plaid around the collar and the pant stripe.
