The Edmonton Elks have signed veteran Canadian long snapper Chad Rempel.
Rempel is a 15-year CFL vet and two-time Grey Cup Champion in 2012 and 2019.
The Sherwood Park, Alta. native was originally drafted by Edmonton in the third round, 35th overall in the 2004 CFL Draft.
He has played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Toronto Argonauts, Hamilton Tiger-cats, Saskatchewan Roughriders, and Chicago Bears in his pro career.
In a corresponding move, Edmonton released long snapper Zach Greenberg.
