Riders select receiver Terrell Jana 17th overall in 2021 CFL Draft

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have selected Canadian receiver Terrell Jana in the second round, 17th overall during the 2021 CFL Draft.

Jana had a productive NCAA career making 122 receptions for 1,473 yards — 12.1 yards per catch — and five touchdowns in 33 games with the University of Virginia. His best season came in 2019 when he finished with 878 receiving yards in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Jana measures in at five-foot-eleven and 195 pounds. The Vancouver, B.C. native was hoping to catch on with an NFL team, but after no franchises came calling for an undrafted free agent contract, his CFL stock improved.
