Chris Schultz passed away on March 4, 2021 at the age of 61.
The six-foot-eight native of Burlington played three seasons with the Dallas Cowboys (1983-85) before embarking on a nine-year career with the Toronto Argonauts (1986-94). He was a two-time CFL all-star and named a member of the Boatmen’s All-Time Team in 2007.
Schultz covered the CFL and NFL for TSN for over twenty years on television and radio. He was a popular member of the CFL on TSN panel with friends and colleagues Jock Climie, Mike ‘Pinball’ Clemons, Milt Stegall, Mike Hogan, Paul LaPolice, Don Landry, and more offering touching tributes.
His funeral was live-streamed on Saturday, March 13 and can be viewed in full using the link below.
