Charles was assigned to the practice squad once training camp ended, however, the Bills signed him to their active roster that October. He earned over $3 million while playing in the NFL.

The Oshawa, Ontario native played U Sports football for the University of Regina Rams. Charles has ratio-breaking potential at the defensive tackle position.
