Defensive end Chris Casher has re-signed with the B.C. Lions on a one-year contract, per source. He was set to become a free agent on February 9.
The 27-year-old earned a starting role with the Calgary Stampeders in 2019, recording 34 tackles, seven sacks and one forced fumble in a breakout year.
The B.C. Lions signed him to a one-year contract worth $145,000 during the CFL’s free agent frenzy in February 2020. He’s returning to the team for 2021 where he’ll be part of a revamped defensive line on the west coast.
