The Edmonton Football Team has signed former Hamilton Tiger-Cats’ national receiver Mike Jones.

In his four-year CFL career, Jones has started 58 games accumulating 101 receptions for 1,472 yards, and four touchdowns. The 28-year-old’s most successful season came in 2018 when he recorded four 100-yard receiving games and showed his big-play ability with three receptions of over 75 yards.

During 2018, Jones led all Canadian receivers in yards per catch (17.2) and ranked second among all Canadians in receiving yardage with 841 on 49 grabs under current XFL head coach June Jones. Jones was originally drafted by the Ticats in the second round, 18th overall during the 2016 CFL Draft.
