Saskatchewan Roughriders Canadian offensive lineman Jake Bennett has retired from pro football.

Bennet signed a three-year contract last June after the Riders used a third round selection to secure him in the CFL supplemental draft. The 25-year-old suited up in one game last season for the green and white.

He started 42 games at centre for the Colorado State University Rams after redshirting and finished his NCAA career by being named an All-Mountain West first-teamer in 2017.
