The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed American offensive lineman Nolan Ulizio and defensive back Ranthony Texada.
The six-foot-five, 320-pound Ulizio played his senior season at the University of Pittsburgh, starting all 13 games at right tackle. The West Chester, OH native spent the four previous seasons at the University of Michigan, playing in 17 career games with five starts at offensive tackle.
The five-foot-10, 185-pound Texada was most recently with the New York Guardians of the XFL, where he registered 16 tackles and one sack in five games. The Smyrna, GA spent part of the 2019 season with the Ottawa Redblacks. He ranks eighth in Big 12 history in pass knockdowns with 30 after his career at Texas Christian University.
