The hype surrounding the 2020 CFL draft class is well-warranted.

There are athletes capable of starting as rookies, intriguing options at Canadian quarterback and potential impact players at every position. Draft boards across the CFL are vastly different each time around and this year is no different.

3DownNation draft analysts Justin Dunk, John Hodge and J.C. Abbott have been studying the 600-plus prospects eligible for today’s 73 picks. Even though the national CFL combine was cancelled, stocks are still rising and falling in front offices across the country.

04/29/20 — John Hodge reports that East Carolina linebacker Jordan Williams isn’t a lock for the first overall pick in the draft. Southeastern Louisiana defensive end Isaac Adeyemi-Berglund is still under consideration for the pick, which means it’s possible the draft on Thursday starts with a surprise.

04/27/20 — Justin Dunk reports that the Calgary Stampeders are open to trading the first overall pick in the draft. Though it’s unlikely they’d want to move far, it’s possible we see the Stampeders make a deal to move back slight from No. 1.
