Wednesday morning the Eskimos’ team Twitter page released a preview of a 2020 jersey.
Most notably, the pictured uniform seems to be primary yellow-gold rather than their typical dark green. But, a few hours later they asked us to take another look leaving fans and players alike disappointed.

It turns out Esks fans might love to have a gold jersey, which hasn’t been seen in Edmonton since 2007. The best comment of the day comes from a fan who pointed out that the Eskimos office personnel are now going “wait, they like it!”
It’s probably unlikely they could get it done in time for a 2020 season – if there is one, of course. Maybe 2021?
