Dallas Cowboys re-sign Canadian long snapper L.P. Ladouceur

The Dallas Cowboys have re-signed Canadian long snapper L.P. Ladouceur.

Ladouceur’s first NFL contract came with the New Orleans Saints following the 2005 draft, however, he was waived in late August. The Cowboys signed the Montreal native in September and he’s been playing with a star on his helmet ever since.

L.P. Ladouceur was a fourth round pick of the mighty Ottawa Renegades in 2004.

He stayed in school that season, and has been with the Cowboys since signing with Dallas in 2005.

The 39-year-old Ladouceur has played 15 seasons so far for the Cowboys and already earned over $12.7 million. He has played in a team-record 237 consecutive games and counts as the oldest and longest-tenured player on the Dallas roster.

Ladouceur has a perfect streak as a long snapper.
