Bombers postpone events at IG Field during ‘unprecedented, rapidly evolving’ COVID-19 situation

Winnipeg Blue Bombers president Wade Miller has postponed all events at IG Field and closed the team store until April 15.

Miller stated:

We recognize that many of you will have questions and we thank-you, in advance, for your patience as we all work diligently through this unprecedented and rapidly evolving situation.

As updated information becomes available, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers will communicate directly with our fans, sponsors and supporters through our Twitter account and website.

Again, we thank you for your understanding as we all work through the uncharted waters facing our country, our community and our club.

The Bombers’ online store will remain open and the franchise has offered free delivery in the province of Manitoba until the end of April.

CFL commissioner Randy Ambrosie remains hopeful that circumstances will allow the league to resume normal activities soon and well in advance of our regular season, which is scheduled to open June 11.
