Alouettes sign former Bombers, Argos defensive back and returner Kevin Fogg

The Montreal Alouettes have signed American defensive back Kevin Fogg.

The 29-year-old Fogg can return kicks and punts as well.

Fogg played seven games with the Toronto Argonauts last year, recoding 24 defensive tackles and one interception. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers was Fogg’s first team in the CFL. He spent three seasons in the Manitoba capital making 154 tackles, 10 interceptions, forced six fumbles, notched one sack and scored on defensive touchdown.

While with Winnipeg, Fogg returned 200 punts for 2,259 yards and one major — 11.3 yard average. During the 2019 season in Toronto, Fogg had four punt returns for 60 yards and eight kick-off returns for 155 yards.

The Liberty University product had stints with the Miami Dolphins and Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL.

The Als get a capable cover and return man by inking Fogg.
