Cleyon Laing has signed a three-year contract with the Ottawa Redblacks. He was 3DownNation’s third-ranked free agent.
The 29-year-old is one of the CFL’s most impactful defensive tackles, posting 27 tackles and seven sacks in 15 games in 2019.
Laing was briefly a member of the Redblacks in 2016 following an NFL stint with the Miami Dolphins. He won a Grey Cup with the team before rejoining the Argonauts in free agency in February 2017.

The Edmonton native has produced 144 career tackles along with 33 sacks and three fumbles in 89 games.
