A boost is coming to the Hamilton Ticats’ secondary in the form of defensive back Qudarius Ford.
Ford signed a two-year deal with the defending East Division champions on the opening day of free agency. He’s the latest in a series of players who have bounced between the double blue and Steeltown.
The 28-year-old spent the past three seasons with the Argos playing in 26 games where he registered 78 tackles, one sack, two interceptions, one touchdown and one forced fumble. All of those numbers came in 2017 and 2019. In 2018, Ford appeared in just one game with no stats. Ford suffered a season-ending pectoral injury during the first game of that season against the Riders in Saskatchewan.
