Former Bombers, Riders general manager Brendan Taman hired by Alouettes

The Montreal Alouettes have hired former Saskatchewan Roughriders general manager Brendan Taman as their senior player personnel executive.

Taman was the general manager with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers from 2004 to 2008 and with the Riders from 2010 to 2015, leading the green and white to a Grey Cup championship on home soil in 2013.

“Brendan possesses a vast knowledge of the CFL and Canadian football, on top of having many years of experience in our league. He will be a great help to our already solid football operations department,” general manager Danny Maciocia said.

The Alouettes have installed former National Football League executive Tom Gamble as their assistant general manager, according to 3DownNation insider Justin Dunk.
