The Ottawa Redblacks have released quarterback Jonathon Jennings along with a group of other players.
Jennings was scheduled to hit the open market on February 11 after signing a one-year contract in the nation’s capital last February during free agency.
The 27-year-old Jennings went 0-6 when he started for Ottawa in 2019. He threw for 1,154 yards completing 65 percent of his passes with three touchdowns and seven interceptions.
