The Montreal Alouettes have re-signed Canadian quarterback Hugo Richard.

Richard joined the Als in January of 2018 and played three games with the team in 2019. He suited up as a quarterback and played on specials teams.

He concluded his collegiate career by hoisting the Vanier Cup, in 2018, at Stade Telus-Université Laval. During his five seasons in Quebec City with the Rouge et Or, the 25-year-old led Laval to two Vanier Cup championships, earning game MVP honours both times.
