Collaros started the Bombers’ final regular season game against the Calgary Stampeders. He passed for 228 yards and two touchdowns in the victory.
Winnipeg sent their third round choice in the 2020 CFL draft to the Argos for Collaros and fifth round selection at the CFL trade deadline on October 9. If the Bombers re-sign Collaros, Toronto receives an additional first round pick.
Collaros has a 35-31 win-loss record while completing 65 percent of his passes for 16,758 yards and 92 touchdowns against 51 interceptions in 73 games over nine seasons. He led the Hamilton Tiger-Cats to a Grey Cup appearance in 2014, narrowly losing to the Calgary Stampeders.
As it stands, Collaros is the favourite to start at quarterback for Winnipeg in the West Semi-Final at McMahon Stadium.
