The Eskimos have lost returner Christion Jones for the rest of the 2019 season.
Jones suffered a left knee injury in Edmonton’s Week 20 game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
The 26-year-old played in 10 games for the Eskimos since being traded on August 5 from the Riders, where he began his CFL career in 2017. He has 825 kick return yards on 40 attempts and 421 yards on 44 punt returns with Edmonton.
During three seasons as a Rider, Jones returned 111 punts for 1,441 yards and three touchdowns and also 51 kickoff returns for 1,225 yards.
