The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are tight lipped about who will start at quarterback.

“Day three closed practice and given the time of year and our situation I’m not going to reveal any roster information,” head coach Mike O’Shea said.

The Calgary Stampeders are confident who will line at quarterback for the opposition.

Chris Streveler finished Winnipeg’s loss in Week 19 at McMahon Stadium, but hobbled off the field. Zach Collaros, acquired at the trade deadline, stood in uniform and watched from the sidelines. Streveler was not at practice on Tuesday while Collaros took all the first-team reps.

When asked if O’Shea has decided on his starter at QB his response was a flat “No. I can’t make that decision just yet.”

Collaros has a 34-31 win-loss record while completing 65 percent of his passes for 16,758 yards and 92 touchdowns against 51 interceptions in 73 games over nine seasons. He led the Hamilton Tiger-Cats to a Grey Cup appearance in 2014, narrowly losing to the Calgary Stampeders. But Collaros has not taken a live snap since Week 1 when he suffered a concussion after Hamilton Ticats linebacker Simoni Lawrence delivered a blow to his head.

“I’m going to do whatever coach O’Shea goes with,” Collaros said. “Anytime you have an opportunity to play it’s a great thing.”
