A future Hall of Fame receiver has reached an impressive milestone.

S.J. Green surpassed 10,000 career receiving yards on Friday night against the Ottawa Redblacks on a 19-yard reception from McLeod Bethel-Thompson. He is just the 18th player in CFL history to reach that total.

Green started his career with the Montreal Alouettes and spent 10 years with the club (2007-2016). He was traded to the Toronto Argonauts in 2017 after suffering a devastating injury to his right knee the prior season.

One of his former Als teammates recognized the achievement: Chad Johnson.

Johnson and Green spent parts of two seasons (2014-2015) together in Montreal. Ochocinco recorded seven catches for 151 yards and one touchdown in five career CFL games. That’s compared to 11,059 yards in the NFL.

The 34-year-old Green has been named an East Division all-star seven times (2011-2015, 2017-2018) and won three Grey Cups (2008, 2009, 2017).
