The Calgary Stampeders have signed former Winnipeg Blue Bombers running back Tim Flanders.
Flanders played one game for B.C. in 2015 and 18 games for Winnipeg from 2016 to 2018. He has 556 career rushing yards on 99 carries (5.6 yards per carry) and four touchdowns with 43 catches for 352 yards and three scores. He also has eight career kickoff returns for 150 yards. Flanders was briefly a member of the Stamps during the off-season leading up to the 2015 season.
The 29-year-old is a versatile back who played in the slot for the the Bombers during his time in The Peg. With Ka’Deem Carey suffering a season-ending injury, Flanders has been brought in to fill the spot.
