Two teams in the West Division have clinched playoff spots: the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Calgary Stampeders.

By virtue of the Stamps’ victory over the Toronto Argos in Week 15 and Ottawa suffering yet another loss, Winnipeg and Calgary booked tickets to the post-season. Both squads are guaranteed at least a crossover position.

If the fourth-place team in division A has more points, not tied, than the third-place team in division B, the fourth-place team will cross over to division B, replace the third place team in division A, and compete against the second-place team of that division.

The Stampeders make the Grey Cup tournament for the 15th consecutive season, setting a franchise record. While Winnipeg is in the sudden death knockout stage for a fourth year in a row.

After winning by two points in Week 9, the Bombers hold the tiebreaker against Calgary, but there are two matchups remaining – Week 19 and 20 back-to-back – that will decide the season series and potentially who finishes first in the West.
