From the CFL office:

Hamilton Tiger-Cats linebacker Simoni Lawrence was fined for unnecessary roughness at the end of a play on Calgary Stampeders running back Ka’Deem Carey.

The league may have the wrong name but the punishment still stands.

It’s another offence committed by Lawrence after being suspended by the league for two games due to a head shot on quarterback Zach Collaros.
