Commissioner Randy Ambrosie meeting with prospective buyers of the B.C. Lions Friday

CFL commissioner Randy Ambrosie is flying to the west coast for ownership meetings.

Commissioner @RandyAmbrosie will be in Vancouver Friday to meet a number of groups interested in purchasing @BCLions. He will present his vision for @cfl including 2.0. 78-year-old David Braley bought the Lions in 1996 and stood behind the franchise through the ups and downs. B.C. is currently 1-10 last place in the CFL under general manager Ed Hervey and rookie head coach DeVone Claybrooks.

Current president Rick LeLacheur has been tasked with finding a potential buyer for the franchise. Ambrosie has been included in the process. Braley wants the new owners to be able to carry on the team for many years to come.
