It appears the Calgary Stampeders are getting Bo Levi Mitchell back under centre.
The CFL’s reigning Most Outstanding Player was pulled off Calgary’s six-game injured list on Thursday and is expected to return to practice.
Mitchell has been out since week three when he suffered a pectoral injury against the B.C. Lions. The 29-year-old has completed 46 of 73 pass attempts for 527 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions in a pair of starts this season.
The Stampeders (5-4) host the Edmonton Eskimos (6-4) for the annual Labour Day Classic on Monday. It remains unclear whether Mitchell or Nick Arbuckle will start for the red and white.
