Alouettes’ Tommie Campbell, Jarnor Jones fined for roles in pre-game altercation

Montreal Alouettes defensive backs Tommie Campbell, Jarnor Jones and Calgary Stampeders linebacker Wynton McManis were each fined for their role in the Week 10 pre-game altercation at McMahon Stadium.

Campbell and McManis, who didn’t play in the game due to injury, got into it during warmups. As the video shows, the two threw punches. That brought the teams together at midfield and more blows.

Jones caught Calgary running back Don Jackson with a right hand. There were no penalties or ejections prior to the thrilling double overtime contest as the Als won for the first time at McMahon Stadium since 2009.

Campbell got the best of his former team in Week 10, but  the league office had the last say on punishment.
