The XFL has unveiled the team names and logos for its eight franchises.

The Xtreme Football League kicks off in February 2020. Its eight franchise teams have names: Dallas Renegades, DC Defenders, Houston Roughnecks, Los Angeles Wildcats, New York Guardians, Seattle Dragons, St. Louis BattleHawks and Tampa Bay Vipers.
They are located in major American cities and already have home stadiums: Dallas (Globe Life Park), Houston (TDECU Stadium), Los Angeles (StubHub Center), St. Louis (Dome at America’s Center), Seattle (CenturyLink Field), Tampa (Raymond James Stadium), New York (MetLife Stadium) and Washington (Audi Field).
Each team will have 40-man rosters and players signed to contracts with salaries averaging around $75,000 USD. The XFL is set to begin play February 8, 2020 – one week after the Super Bowl – with games televised on ABC, ESPN and Fox Sports 1.
