The Montreal Alouettes won’t have running back William Stanback in the lineup Friday night.

Stanback required assistance getting to the Alouettes locker room after the Alouettes loss to Ottawa in Week 9. Stanback had 12 carries for 88 yards and four catches for 24 yards in the game. He was hurt on the final snap of the defeat.

The 25-year-old has rushed 87 times for 592 yards and four touchdowns averaging 6.8 yards-per-carry while grabbing 15 passes for 161 yards in six games so far in 2019. It’s the first season Stanback earned the every-down back role in his pro career.
