Winnipeg has placed receiver Darvin Adams on the six-game injured list with a lower body injury.
Adams suffered the setback during the Bombers’ loss to Hamilton in Week 7. He made three catches for 42 yards and one touchdown versus the Ticats.
The 29-year-old is second on the Bombers in receiving with 20 receptions for 267 yards and three touchdowns. Adams is viewed as the No. 1 target for Matt Nichols. He had 1,028 yards and 10 touchdowns on 61 grabs in 2018. That followed a 1,120-yard, seven touchdown campaign in 2017.
Chris Matthews will take Adams’ spot in the Bombers’ starting lineup.
