Bombers QB Matt Nichols exits game against Ottawa

Winnipeg Blue Bombers quarterback Matt Nichols left in the third quarter of Friday night’s game against the Ottawa Redblacks after taking a hit on an 18-yard run by Kevin Brown.

Nichols was tackled as a runner instead of sliding.

Chris Streveler came in his place as the Bombers led 22-4 at the time Nichols entered concussion protocol.
