The 26-year-old signed with the Lions last April and spent the 2018 season on the West Coast, spending most of the year developing on the practice roster. Lloyd was once viewed as having the potential to be B.C.’s quarterback of the future.
But an injury in training camp caused the Lions to add former Edmonton Eskimos QB Danny O’Brien and changed the quarterback dynamic at least for now.
