The Saskatchewan Roughriders practiced for the first time Sunday since their season-opening loss to Hamilton which saw quarterback Zach Collaros knocked out of the game on the third offensive play.
Collaros was not on the field.

Cody Fajardo entered the game first for Collaros and spent Sunday’s session with the first-team offence. Fajardo completed 9-of-17 passes for 66 yards and rushed seven times for 34 yards with one touchdown against the Ticats.
Fajardo was signed by general manager Jeremy O’Day during free agency and clearly won the backup job in training camp. The 26-year-old has been elevated to a possible starting role quickly as the status of Collaros remains up in the air.
That led to the Riders signing Bryan Bennett, first reported by 3DownNation insider Justin Dunk, who was on the field for practice.
