Pipkin started for games for Montreal in 2018 winning two and losing two while throwing for 1,120 yards, three touchdowns against eight interceptions completing 59 per cent of his passes and rushing 45 times for 252 yards and eight touchdowns.
The 23-year-old spent the 2017 season in Montreal coming back for training camp in 2018, but he was released from his rookie contract in June. The Alouettes brought Pipkin back on a one-year deal for the remainder of the season in July and signed him to a contract extension through 2020 last October.
After the Johnny Manziel era came to a quick end in Montreal, the Pipkin time is about to begin.
