Urban was selected in the second round, 15th overall by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the 2013 CFL draft.
The 27-year-old played the first four years of his NFL career with the Baltimore Ravens, suiting up in 41 games making 52 tackles, 3.5 sacks while knocking down five passes.
Baltimore selected Urban in the fourth round, 134th overall of the 2014 NFL draft.
The Mississauga, ON native played in the NCAA for the University of Virginia.
