The Montreal Alouettes have re-signed defensive lineman Gabriel Knapton.
Knapton played in eight games making 15 tackles and one sack for the B.C. Lions after being acquired in an off-season trade in December 2016. B.C. sent Chris Williams to Montreal Alouettes for Knapton.
B.C. general manager Ed Hervey swung a trade with the Toronto Argonauts for defensive end Shawn Lemon, which made Knapton expendable.
