Lions hire former Eskimos Canadian scout Rob Ralph

The B.C. Lions have hired Rob Ralph as their East regional scout.

The Edmonton Eskimos let Ralph go in December due to the football operations cap. Ralph had been with the Eskimos for two decades moving his way up to the post he last held. Ralph played an important role in building the Eskimos Canadian talent core.

Current Lions defensive lineman called out the Eskimos for their lack of professionalism regarding Ralph.

Ralph worked with current Lions and former Eskimos general manager in Edmonton and the two are reunited in B.C. Hervey promoted Ralph to the Canadian Draft position in 2016 after he served four years as a scout for Edmonton among other roles before that.

Ralph is an up and coming scouting talent in the CFL.
