Bombers sign Manitoba product D.J. Lalama

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have added a local product to the team’s roster.

Linebacker D.J. Lalama, a product of the University of Manitoba, was an eight-round pick of the Edmonton Eskimos in 2016.

Lalama made Edmonton’s roster in 2017 and recorded ten special teams tackles in 15 games. The Winnipeg native signed with Montreal ahead of the 2018 season but missed the entire year due to a shoulder injury.
